The Walkway is a mixed-use project in Uptown Minneapolis that consists of 92 apartment homes, 20,000 square feet of street-level retail and restaurant space, and two levels of underground parking with 220 stalls. The building’s exterior features Kasota limestone, Abet Laminati composite wood paneling, and metal siding. The interiors are lavishly finished with thick stone countertops, wood plank flooring, butcher-block islands, stainless steel appliances, and teak cabinets. A second-level pool deck is complemented by The ‘R’ Bar, a private restaurant. The completion of this HUD-financed project required intense focus on budget, timeline, and aesthetic goals.
